COVID-19 Information

This information answers many of the questions that you have sent in and is a great link to keep available as updates will be posted there. Thanks for your patience while we prepared this for release.
The IRS posted today Filing and Payment Deadline Questions and Answers. These Q&As address the federal filing and payment extension to July 15 due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) outbreak. These Q&As currently include information on the additional extension to Oct. 15, first quarter estimated tax payments, IRAs and HSAs.
We also have a new IRS.gov page that provides updates on mission-critical functions of the IRS. This page provides an overview of changes related to IRS operations and guidance for taxpayers during this period.

Dear Client,
On March 21, 2020 the IRS announced that, due to the COVID-19 outbreak, income tax filings and tax payments for 2019 tax returns and first quarter income tax estimates for 2020 have been automatically extended to July 15, 2020. This includes tax returns and payments for individuals, trusts and estates, corporations and all other non-corporate tax filers. Most states have also announced that they will follow the federal extension.
In consideration of the tax extension and in an effort to do our part to keep our clients and our employees safe and healthy we will take the following precautions beginning Monday, March 23, 2020:
Income Tax Clients:
- No in personal appointments will held. Clients may drop off their information through our mail slot in our front door or send us their information digitally via email, our client portal or other means like Dropbox. If you are not yet setup on our portal and would like to be, please call or email to get setup.
- We will deliver your tax returns to you via mail, our client portal or through DocuSign (this options costs $10 additional).
Payroll Clients:
- Please submit your payroll information as usual; email, portal, fax or phone.
- We will contact you to determine the best way to deliver your payroll.
We want to reassure all our clients that we are still available to help you with your needs. We will do everything we can reasonably do to help your business continue with as little disruption on our end as possible. We greatly appreciate your business and hope that you and your loved ones stay healthy and safe.
